What Is Your Worth Dependant On?

Why do we care so much if we gain weight, get stretch marks, or have wrinkles—things we’ve been told are “ugly” or “bad”?

Because we’ve been taught to believe that our worth, goodness, and value depends on how we look.

But it doesn’t stop there.

We’ve also learned that our value comes from all sorts of things outside of us, like:

  • How much money we have

  • The school we went to

  • How often we go to the gym

  • How well our kids are doing

  • Whether we’re “nice” people

  • How often we go to church

  • The kind of vacations we take

  • The type of job we have

And the list goes on.

How does it feel to believe that if you don’t meet these expectations, you’re not good enough?

Not great, right?

But think about this: when we entered the world as babies, we were already good enough. We were born worthy and valuable—and we knew it.

It wasn’t until society started telling us what was expected that we began to lose touch with that inherent worth.

Here’s the good news: all is not lost. You can reconnect with your goodness and worth right now, in this very moment.

All it takes is being present. Just be here, without a thought, and you’ll feel it.

The real you. The worthy you. The valuable you.

There’s nothing to fix, nothing to change. No need to be anyone else.

Can you feel that?

Reconnecting with the true you, the worthy you, in the present moment is all you need to feel better.

No diet. No compliments from others. No luxury vacations required.

You can simply live your life as you—content and at ease.

How nice is that?

This is the core essence of what I share in Body Acceptance and Beyond Group Coaching: the ability to recognize your own worth and trust that you have all the answers and guidance within you.

I know from personal experience, that feeling and living this truth is a journey. It can be incredibly helpful to have support from a coach and others walking the same path.

So if living grounded in your inherent worth, and making choices that truly fulfill you (instead of seeking approval from others), resonates with you, I invite you to join Body Acceptance and Beyond Group Coaching.
